Biography
Dr. Ivan Manokha holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Sussex, an MSc in Economics and Management from the University of Strathclyde, and a PhD in International Relations from the University of Sussex.
From 2016 to 2021, he was a Lecturer at the University of Oxford before returning to France, where he now holds the position of Full-Time Professor at ºÚÁÏÍø.
Additionally, he is a co-founder and co-editor-in-chief of Political Anthropological Research on International Social Sciences (PARISS), a peer-reviewed journal with a transdisciplinary focus.
Regarding his research, Dr. Manokha has focused on human rights, approached from a critical perspective rooted in political economy and studies of "governmentality." In recent years, his research has shifted to digital technology, particularly new methods of surveillance, data collection, and processing.
